Francesca de Gasparis, Consulting Associate
Francesca has a degree in psychology with a post graduate study in psycho dynamic counselling. She has facilitated practical therapeutic sessions with two individuals for more than a year, and has recently completed a practitioner’s course in eco constellations, a course which provides a template for investigating complex issues from an individual standpoint.
She has supervised young professionals in a work environment for over 18 years, with experience including paid staff, interns, and volunteers. It was her job to coach these individuals in decision-making about their careers to realise their potential and goals, and build their skill sets for working on international rights and advocacy. She has also trained numerous people on IT, communication and advocacy, and proposal writing.
She was mentored by a professional management consultant from the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants, as well as having been coached by a trainee coach over 8 sessions. As Vice Chair of the Spitalfields City Farm she informally mentors, as well as provides support and guidance to, the Spitalfields City Farm Manager. She has worked with the Green Belt Movement International – Europe, first as a Programme Officer, and then from 2008 until 2013 as the Director. The Greenbelt Movement was born in Kenya, and founded by the late Wangari Mathai, one of the Nobel Women’s Initiative laureates.
Her life-long interest in processes and systems means Francesca has a great belief and commitment to understanding and development through the self. She hails from South Africa.
